Hi, I’m Aysha - a Global Caravan Dance (GCD) teacher based in Tropical Far North Queensland.

I love sharing the joy of GCD with others. My classes and workshops provide a space for women to have fun and take time for themselves whilst connecting with body, breath and movement. The variety of dance technique, costuming, props and formations inspire creativity and offer an escape from the mundane.

I’m passionate about sharing my love of GCD, creativity and wellbeing with others and would love to see you at a class or workshop.

SO WHAT IS GLOBAL CARAVAN DANCE?

Global Caravan Dance is a form of group improvisational tribal bellydance founded in the USA by Paulette Rees-Denis, that is feminine, creative and fun! It’s a global blend of dance styles including African, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Indian, Modern, Trance and Jazz!

The philosophy of GCD is more than dance - it’s a way of life - inviting one to live more mindfully, creatively and in tune with body/mind/spirit and the joy of being in the moment.
